Systemic structural and organizational constellations: Experiencing solutions
Living systems are networks of interwoven relationships. They consist of individual elements that influence each other continuously.
The interaction of elements/people is externalized and experienced by everyone involved as "constellations".
The method of Systemic Structural Constellations (SySt) was developed by Matthias Varga von Kibéd and Insa Sparrer. By studying a group of people, it is possible to gain insight into the system in which they operate. The system in question (department, group, project, function, etc.) is mapped by observing the persons (representatives). Individual persons as well as abstract elements (e.g. goals, products, orders) are put under the microscope as parts of the system to be mapped.
The modeling of a system or working environment is an effective method of finding out information about the relationships and the effectiveness of a productive system. The process as a whole and the findings generate ideas for further systemic interventions, and frequently surprising new possibilities come to the fore.
In our work, we combine the tried and tested Trigon models for people and organizations with the techniques and practices of Systemic Structural Constellations.
Typical areas for exploration are:
-
Team and organizational constellations
- Transformation of specific issues concerning management and the organization by means of metaphors which are then firmed up for implementation
- Use in coaching
- Constellation as part of an OD process
- Project supervision using the constellation method
